Scope
This policy applies to consulting fees charged by CyberSecureNet Employment Support for placement support, recognition guidance, language pathway sessions, and interview or contract preparation. It does not cover tuition paid to language schools, sworn translator fees, authority charges, or employer costs.
Eligibility for refunds
Unused prepaid advisory sessions cancelled in writing at least 48 hours before the scheduled time are eligible for a full refund of that session fee. Placement engagement deposits are refundable in full if we have not yet contacted any employer on your behalf and you cancel within fourteen days of payment.
Timeframe to request
Refund requests must be sent to info@cybersecurenet.digital within thirty days of the charge you dispute, or within the cancellation windows above, whichever applies.
Full and partial refunds
If placement work has begun (document review completed and employer shortlist prepared) but no introductions have been made, we may offer a partial refund of the unused portion after deducting work already performed, typically documented as hours at our advisory rate. Once employer introductions have started with your approval, the placement fee is generally non-refundable except where we cancel the engagement unilaterally without cause.
Non-refundable items
- Completed advisory sessions (recognition, language pathway, interview, or contract prep already delivered)
- Placement fees after approved employer outreach has begun
- Third-party costs we advance only when you have authorised them in writing (rarely; usually you pay providers directly)
Refund process and timing
Email us with your name, invoice or payment reference, and reason. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within ten business days of approval.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Session appointments may be rescheduled once without fee if you give at least 48 hours' notice. Later cancellations or no-shows forfeit that session fee. Placement timelines may pause if you become unreachable for more than fourteen days; fees already earned for completed stages are not refunded during a pause.
Deposits
Placement engagements may require a deposit to reserve advisory capacity. The deposit is applied to the final fee. Unused deposit amounts follow the eligibility rules above.
Work already started
Document review, readiness assessments, shortlist preparation, and mock interviews count as started work. You remain responsible for fees covering those stages even if you later decline employer interviews.
Exceptions
If we cannot deliver a confirmed session due to our own unavailability and cannot offer a suitable alternative within fourteen days, you receive a full refund of that session. Statutory consumer rights under German law remain unaffected where they apply.
