Data we collect
When you submit a contact form or email us, we process your name, email address, preferred region, selected consultation type, and the content of your message. During an engagement we may process professional documents you provide (CV, certificates, references) solely to deliver placement or advisory services.
Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited may be processed through essential server logs and, if you accept analytics cookies, through analytics tools described in our cookie notice.
Purposes and legal bases
We process enquiry data to respond to your request and, where relevant, to prepare a consulting engagement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Website security and essential cookies rely on legitimate interests or necessity for providing the service (Art. 6(1)(f) or (b)). Analytics cookies run only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
Retention
Contact enquiries without an engagement are retained up to 24 months, then deleted or anonymised. Engagement files are retained for the duration of the matter and thereafter as required by commercial and tax record-keeping rules in Germany, typically up to ten years for invoicing records. Cookie consent choices remain in your browser until you clear storage.
Recipients
We share candidate information with prospective employers only with your prior agreement for a specific introduction. Hosting and email providers processing data on our behalf are bound by data-processing agreements. We do not sell personal data.
International transfers
If a processor stores data outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and will provide details on request.
Your rights
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection where applicable under the GDPR. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, including the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz in Rheinland-Pfalz.
Children
Our services are directed at adults seeking professional employment. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
